Busy little beavers!

Walter has made some exciting accomplishments this weekend. First of all, he is now cutting on lines (before he would make small little cuts). Anyway, I drew out some roads for him to cut out and boy did it ever make his wheels turn (in more than one way)! It started out as a couple of black pieces of paper and turned into this big village. He insisted on taping it onto the floor and then added the yard stick, some foam bath tub road pieces and a ribbon that has marking on it like a road. Then he drew lines on a piece of paper for his parking lot. Of course he had to make buildings too. So he got out his blocks and built "a mining building and a train station." Each building had a set of feet according to him. He worked on this little layout for hours and even said "I can't wait for Daddy to come home and see my car road and buildings." Oh and then he drove trains by the train station and drug out another train building.

Then today he was drawing and on his own for the first time wrote some letters to label what he was drawing! He made the letters O, i, t, x, l, p, and a. I don't know who was more excited me or him!
Rose E is now officially stacking blocks. Before she would go to stack a block onto another and then psyche us out and take it back. Anyway, it was cute because she would set her block on top of the other and say "block, block" then clap. She is turning into quite the little character. When I say should we change your diaper, right away she shakes her head no and says "no, no, no!" Earlier today we where in her bedroom and she said "coo coo" I said are you thinking about clocks? Then she pointed to the clock in her room and said "see." "See" was her most used word of the day. Every time I (or she- I have been letting her flip the switch) would turn on the light she would say "see." She also pulled herself up to a standing while holding onto chair pointed to it and said "sit down." Oh speaking of chairs, she was sitting in her high chair this evening and would purposely drop a toy and say "oopsie" (you really learn what you say when you have a couple of little parrots repeating your every word). Her other new words where "hey sweetie", "plane" (for airplane), and "wa" for waffles.
