Someday......
we will be big enough to play basketball in this court at our park but for now it is a pretend balance beam haven!
Here we are having a snack at the Marina next to the park. The kids enjoyed looking at the different boats and Rose E kept saying "that boat is swimming." I must have answered a million questions and now I am even getting questions from Rose E and sometimes too if I tell her something she says "why?".It is kinda scary though because they don't forget ANYTHING! "Walter has two new expressions "good grief" and "oh brother" (which just cracks me up when he says them and all I can figure is he must have picked them up from watching Charlie Brown's Christmas six months ago)!

Better late than never!
We are finally having summer weather here, yahoo, it is so nice to just go out of the door without worrying about bundling the kids up. Some of our flowers are late this year in blooming due to all of the cold we have been having, this crab apple tree was done blooming on May 15 Th two years ago (before Rose E was born) and now here it is in full bloom!
Walter has been busy conjuring up plans for when he is an adult and one of them is to go to the park everyday (amongst the other plans that mostly have something to do with a train). Rose E is having fun on the playgrounds too but has gained a new fear of the slides and when she gets to one says "I scary (scared)."
It's kind of hard to see here but Jeff and I stayed up late a few nights ago making a more defined garden in front of our house. We dug out the grass and layed down some bricks, a few corner stones and some wood chips in hopes that it helps our Hydrangea bushes.
Last but not least, even though my Birthday is not for another four months, Walter decided that I needed a Birthday present anyway. Here he drew a frame and a picture of him and Rose E laying down train track. Gotta love those little alien people! Friday, June 12, 2009
A quick trip
Jeff's Grandma needed a ride to Green Bay so we made it into a mini vacation. We got to see their cousin Ariel play baseball,
watch a few trains, do some shopping and go to Chucky Cheese! Here Rose E was bopping with the big mouse, Chucky.
Peek a boo! Walter liked that they(Chucky Cheese) had tunnels to crawl into attached to the ceiling
and here was one of his favorite games, driving race cars!
Last but not least a ride on the carousal. This little girl also got the biggest kick out of our elevator at our motel (it was surrounded by glass) at first she was scared but after one trip she would say "wee, there's a elevator in our house." At one point to she teased Jeff in our room too and said "uh oh, watch out the elevator is coming to get you." Such a character!Sunday, June 7, 2009
