Then on Saturday, Jeff and his dad put their Camaro in the car show and won first prize in the classic car category, way to go guys! Walter was so excited about that trophy!

Little scientist at work!

We've been taking walks on the trail lately. It is so much fun to see the kids excited about nature! Whenever we go we have been on the hunt for animal tracks and different wildflowers. One of these days I will have all of those flowers memorized so I don't have to look them up anymore! It is amazing how many different kinds there are.
On another note, this morning Rose E woke-up and had an itch on her leg. So I said, "your leg is itchy, let me see it" and she said "it doesn't need cream, I want to get exercise by itching it!" What a goof.

Our latest Ranger adventure

Today we trailered the Ranger four wheeler to Sidnaw, Michigan and drove it to Bergland. What a beautiful scenic ride with rolling hills, nice bridges and a waterfall.

We saw lots of deer, rabbits, birds including a turkey, and a turtle along the way.

We took the kids fishing...

and boy, oh boy did they have fun!
Rose E reeled in this cat fish and was so excited to see a "kitty fish"

The fish where biting like crazy, it was so much fun to see the excitement in the kids as we reeled-up each fish. It was also neat because we watched a turtle as it kept poking it's head in and out of the water.
On another note, this is Walter's last week of t-ball! Wow did that season fly by. It is cute because now whenever he sees professional baseball on t.v he'll say "hey, look they are playing t-ball."
