Rose E. in Milwaukee

On Monday, Rose E. went for a long ride with daddy to Milwaukee for work. They did somehow manage to find a couple trains along the way!

A bright future!

Our future "engineer"(in one sense or another) here! This kid has been creating some awesome things lately. He got inspired by one of Daddy's books and created a very detailed "Ore boat" in this picture.
This fashion queen has rediscovered her sun glasses! We had 75 degree weather the other day and she said she needed to wear them to the park so that her "eyeballs wouldn't pop out!" I couldn't help but to laugh.

Oh and she is wearing them inside too! Thought it was a cute touch to the Chief ensemble. Here she is before her tea party with her toy animals, dolls and of course mom too!

A Happy Birthday to Jeff's Grandma!

Little feet taking big steps!

Last week we signed Walter up for Kindergarten and t-ball! He wanted to check out the field before hand so here he is after running around the bases and checking out the stands. Some exciting stuff!
And today Rose E made the switch from her crib to her big bed. Such a big girl now. These kids are getting too big too fast!

Happy Birthday Big Guy!

This weekend Rose E and I went to Green Bay to celebrate her cousin Ariel's 11Th Birthday.
A picture of the gang.
Rose E and Ariel chilling!
Last but not least who says a princess can't be a doctor? Oh and speaking of fashion this princess got a kick out of the mannequins in the stores in Green Bay and called the ones with no heads "monsters."

Oh Happy Days!

Last week we had spring break and spring had sprung! The kids where thrilled to find two blooming flowers in our yard!
One day we invited four friends over to play. Here is Walter watching out the window and counting down the time with his watch.
We had an Easter egg hunt in the yard and
decorated eggs. Walter had me write in his journal at the end of the day "it was the best day of my life."
Here are Rose E and Walter's finished products, their "monster eggs."
One day we also met my family in Eagle River, Wisconsin. Here are Rose E and cousin Colton hugging and
the kids again with Colton.
On another day we went to the mall to see the Easter bunny and play some games. Walter was in deep thought afterwards because this "bunny didn't have real fur so he must have been a helper for the Easter bunny." Getting too smart!
Here are the kids on Easter! Growing-up my grandparents had a lamb cake at every Easter meal. Jeff knew of the tradition and surprised me last year with a lamb cake and made one again for the family this year.
Last but not least the kids discovering their Easter goodies. Hope everybody had a wonderful Easter!
